Obviously, the school year ended way different than of us expected to, but the amount of compassion and dedication from the teachers and communities to try and celebrate this huge milestone for these graduates was so inspiring to watch.
In my town, a caravan(parade??) was planned, where the graduates lined up down the main road, while friends, family and community members slowly drove down the street waving, honking, and celebrating. They also had a FM radio channel playing with a little blurb introducing each graduate and what their future plans are.
In a way, it was the best grad I’ve been a part of, as usually you don’t get to be included in grad festivities unless you are a family member going to the ceremonies or reception. This was, anyone could come and wish the graduates well.
I met K and her family at a park, and I couldn’t get over the sparkle and shimmer in her dress! Such a fun dress that changes with each catch of the light!
Happy graduation K!! Enjoy your summer and good luck in the fall!!
Very photo is beautiful!! Thank you!!
