I took a road trip to visit one of my friends and her family for her youngest daughter’s first birthday back in April, and spend the weekend with them photographing a few different events, so watch the blog for a couple more posts featuring them!

First up, was their family portrait session.  We found a beautiful area that the kids and their dog could walk around without many other people walking around to distract them.  We had been planning for the whole family to join us and do an extended family portrait, but, as it happens sometimes with little ones, one family had a little one not feeling very well, so we changed our plans up a little bit!

I loved our quick, crazy visit with 3 toddlers, a sleepover, 3 different photo sessions, and a birthday party thrown in there too!  This family’s hospitality is seriously second to none!!
